I love to read

A friend just introduced me to this great new site called Goodreads. It's a networking plus book review site all in one. The way it works is that you rate books you've read and you can put other books on your "current reading" or "to read" lists. You add friends and you can view each other's reviews. Pretty neat to see what your friends are reading and recommending. Gives you great tips for when you go to the library, you'll know what to check out.

I'm currently reading a few books - GRITS Friends are Forevah, A Thousand Splendid Suns, and Remember Me?

Happy Reading and have a great weekend!

FREEBIE!!! GIVEAWAY!!!

Pop on over to my other blog to enter to win a bag tag in our giveaway!

These tags are fantastic for just about every need - luggage, sports bag, diaper bag, bookmark, hostess gift, etc. and we are giving one away to a lucky recipient. Drawing will be held next Wed., August 13th. Click here for more details or to enter.

Also, during the month of August, all orders at little pink pansy will also receive a complimentary bag tag so get shopping!

FREEBIE!!!! GIVEAWAY!!!

My dear friends over at Pixie Bows are doing a giveaway for this cute little clip! All you have to do is enter to be eligible to win.

The girls at Pixie Bows are two of my closest friends, who happen to make outstanding hair accessories (they make up about 95% of what Olive wears in her hair, and she ALWAYS has a bow in her hair!) Their products are superior in quality but they are also unique, cute, and different. Go register to win and read about their journey as they reconnect cross-country to rebuild their business.

Their official website will launch in October but in the meantime, you can order some of their earlier designs at my site, little pink pansy.

Wishing you and your kids happy hair days!
